You're just 10 minutes to the Mayport Village Ferry, which takes you north towards Little Talbot Island State Park and Fernandina Beach. Downtown Jacksonville is an easy 15 minute drive. There's a park for the kids just a three minute drive away, and it includes a skate park. There are several golf courses in the area, and a boat launch nearby.
